Suchitra Harnahalli is a first-year Ph.D. Student in German and Visual Studies and is pursuing a graduate minor in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. She began learning German in 2013 and fell in love with the language. After her PASCH Stipendium in 2016 at Dresden, her passion for the language deepened. Later, she taught German as a foreign language while pursuing her Master’s. Her research interests lie in the field of Holocaust studies. She studies the role of body in theatrical texts from the Holocaust.
